Thanks Lima-
I am looking for opportunities closer to my place in central NM, and as you say-they do have yards all over.- some in SE NM which would work for me-Thanks again and have a great day! -

The guys who run Pumping Services are great. Overall a good company but there are a few issues as with most any job you come across. We had a few guys from Pumpco who came over who said they wantd to go back there but never did.

there is a Sanjel yard right by where i worked all last year and all i can say about them is their yard looked like hell and their equipment looks kinda junky on the outside. i'm truly just judging a book by its cover though so take that for what it's worth
pumpco is owned by a large company (superior energy) and their equipment is well maintained from what i've seen. tread looking a bit worn? new tire right away, no problem (at least that's how it was at my company..can't imagine it would be different there). they are a sister company to the company i worked for all year and we got a lot of their equipment.Last edited: Jan 22, 2013

Is this for frac? Or just regular acidizing?
if it's just acidizing................ i will just say that is a very unusual schedule and it sounds like you're majorly exaggerating, lol. sorry. just my initial impression
3-4 hours of sleep a night is very untypical. when i did cementing we were on call 24/7 so yeah there would be some nights i only got a couple hours before that phone rang, but that was only during the summer when the drilling was out of control down here. and anyway it is your right to take a 10 hour break after coming off a shift, so you only have to take the job if you want it.
acidizing is much more steady schedule. clock in at 4am every day (almost never work sundays... very few pulling units operate on weekends at all), get to location and rig up and wait for the pulling unit crew to get there (never seen one arrive before 7am), start pumping at 8 or whenever they're ready for us, usually get done pumping the job by noon or early afternoon. back to the yard to fuel/service/wash the truck. clock out 4pm-6pm. go home get 5-6 hours sleep. do it all over again. of course i only lived 10 minutes from our yard.
just saying, i've never heard of your kind of schedule. sounds a bit ridiculous and unrealistic. dangerous and illegal as well.
