connecting laptop to cb radio

not been here long myself but i have noticed the same thing. him and i had a few words last week then all of a sudden a few days later i get an infraction. go figure. my guess is i'll just avoid him like the plague and not acknowledge anything he says.

 

I guess when you've been at it for a while and seen how things have changed in the trucking business you would understand. Years ago i enjoyed rollin down the road and being part of a conversation on the cb and had alot of good fun with it. Today we got stupid noises, rambos, whiners, and people who just want to stir something up. So when you mention hooking up a cb to a computer, us older hands can only think the worst, as if it can get any worse than it is now. 10-4.

 

Almost forgot about those, sometimes one would think you was in a foreign country. All this jibber-jabber should be on channel 41.

 

There aughta be a law! English channel, Spanish channel, etc... Maybe if the cb'ers had infractions imposed on them, they'd get the picture! Well, I guess you can't get a picture with a cb, but who the heck knows when that will be!!

When I rode a couple times this summer I was forced to hear a lot of:smt064from the :smt034 and with their mouths, playing

I do see a benefit to communicate with others you are running with, (outside of your own truck of course -is what tozz22 may have been stating?) But a cell phone group call would do better probably.
