The same amount of money but not doing frac work. Frac crews get paid a % of the job cost so can make alot of money. Hard work rigging in and can be boring sitting around until your equipment is needed.

 

Stay long enough and move up to chem van. No more rigging in iron, only chem hoses.

I don't like it much neither, but it pays the bills.

i plan to try to get a job in about 2 years.. ill be lil older and will have 2-3 years of experience.

had an interview last year to go work in the oilfields but decided to pass that

 

Don't forget health,dental,group life and contributions to RRSP and such. If you have family that stuff can add up.

We do a lot of 3rd party work for SLB and Halliburton. Pull pumps, chem van, manifold, whatever is needed. No rigging in for us, lot of ### time on lease.
