Just sign on the dotted line! It doesn't matter the interest rate or the final payout. Just sign on the dotted line 'cause you'll look cool in your stool.

WOW, didn't expect that! Well looks like i'm making friends fast... Anyway thanks to the guys that had something intelligent to say, please keep the good responses coming, i do appreciate it!
To Gilles2013, here is something for you too, since Africa is all about equality i must leave you a message also, and just in case you don't know what that means, in really simple English, equal stuff for everyone, as in, if you got a ice-cream, i get one too, just because i do. I don't work for the Government, i don't qualify for any government contracts or assistance because I am the wrong skin color, so even if my tender (that's quoting the Government for a work contract) is a the best price, i still will not get the work because i am not BEE compliant in any way (BEE = Black Economic Empowerment). That means i own my own company 100%, no partnerships with anyone "being of color", i'm just me. Please don't take offence anyone, this guy thinks he deserves an explanation from me so i am giving him one in plain EnglishI pay a ridiculous amount of tax that only benefits people that don't contribute to society and that includes the politicians. I get nothing for my taxes. I pay my drivers more than 50% of what other companies pay their guys and i only have awesome drivers, people i would invite into my home anytime. They stay with me because of the way they are treated, as PEOPLE, maybe YOU should pay attention! PEOPLE! Oh yes, and to answer your question, i have built up a company that owes NOTHING to the bank or anyone else, i'm guessing you have nothing by your ignorant and arrogant comments. Try working hard for your money in harsh conditions, try dodging hijackers that will KILL YOU for your load or even just for the diesel in your tanks EVERY DAY, try running roads in a Super-B that a car has not been down in 2 years where there is only a basic track, try trucking for more than 3 months on 1 trip and having to pay your way through border corruption just to avoid being arrested for being the guy with money in your pocket, without whining that the truck stop has bad food and the trucks air-conditioning is not working because there are no truck stops and there are no mechanics to help you fix the air-conditioning or change a tire, you just do it yourself because that's all you can do, then come back and ask me how i made my money!
I wish you all the best but have very little hope that you will ever achieve anything in life if this is the way you see others that you don't even know and the way you conduct yourself in public, i think without asking anyone else, you have just succeeded in making a total idiot of yourself, well done!Big Jay, amiller, .honeybadger. and 12 others Thank this. -
I would think a better option is to move to America and try this because Canada probably doesn't have as much freight.

If you've built that kind of business in SA, you ought to be able to do it again in Canada. That is, once you get the hang of looking left when stepping into a crosswalk and driving on the correct side of the road.
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
I actually wanted to move to America because i have some family there and have been there a good few times, i was over there for a month in June to travel and do some research. However the USA has much more strict guidelines for immigration and it doesn't look like i will be able to qualify for what they want. I have no fancy degrees or anything like that, just hard work and a successful business to my name. Canada has an entrepreneur visa that i qualify for so i will have to go that route, either way, i'm getting out of Africa and can start fresh in a country where you at least have the right to own your own company without worrying the Government will take it away from you and give it to some guy that cant read and write just because they can... They call that equality here...
vikingswen and BoyWander Thank this. -

@ Redforman - thank you, i hope things work out! Yes i must say it will take time getting used to things over there. I imported a left-hand-drive Peterbilt from Dallas for myself, as my personal truck kind of thing, so i have got used to driving left-hand-drive, only i do it on the other side of the road here...

Maybe you could do what my great grandfather did and immigrate to Canada then move to the US, of course that may not have been on the up and up since he got deported back to Canada.
