Pick'd up in Spruce Creek Saturday afternoon, deliver'd in Winston Salem this morning. Been in the north east since i start'd and never noticed a shortage of freight, maybe in terms of loads leaving the port going to other parts of America, but there's always about eight loads going into Canada.. Right now we're pretty far behind. Having trouble getting Florida juice up to the customers, and it seems like after the holidays a few Canada drivers didn't come back to the North East cause i've been seeing the same five people for the past couple of weeks.
donno, Tiffany said pay roll said they'll be out at the end of the month. I'm still tryin to find a day/date on my calander titled "End of the Month". It's like they don't expect us to make plans involving anything other then the qualcomm
If it's from your idle then you just need to drive as much as possible, and idle as little as possible, it'll slowly tick itself down and you'll be running 73mph again. When ever i go into the shop, i check to see if they pull'd the ecm, if so that usually means they reset my idle and mpg's so i reset my trip counter on the dash. That way i can keep up with my actual mpg, and idle percent.
if you don't have a recent ecm print out then that means you're most likely running of the last guys idle and mpg.. when ever they reset it make sure you look for it before you start idling your truck.. they never tell you they reset it, they just do it.
they reset mine after a service, i got my truck back thinking it was down to 2.1% idle on 400hrs, well i let the truck idle while i was putting my stuff in it not knowing it was really at 0% idle on 0hrs, well the 15min it took me to load my truck and park my pick up i was at 100% on .2hrs. -
When i was their and got my brand new truck it ran 65 till its first service with the idea of breaking it in, ran 75 afterwards.

Do u guys have espar heaters?
-
I finally got it back up.
Its kinda hard not to idle when its 18 dergrees. But i do idle as little as possable. -
What driver rewards program? Was that sarcasm? I've been here a little over a year and didn't know we had a driver rewards program.

Mitch all I know is they deadheaded me all the way back to Montezuma GA from Flemington. Not the last time I was there but the time before that. Then again that was in the last week of June.
And if payroll says the W2s are gonna be out at the end of the mouth, that means whenever the hell they feel like it. They would do payroll the same way if they could. Whenever they feel like it. -
nope, a few trucks have APU's on them though. i think it's like ten or so trucks.
i heard that, for awhile it was single digits in Canada, once i was coming out and it was -9. I ended up shutting down in water town because the water in my fuel water seperator was freezing and causing codes.
"Driver Rewards" is the program that install'd on the ECM. If you start out fresh with no idle and a blank mpg chart, it will increase your speed from 65mph to 68mph automatically once you drive 1500mi (?) and keep the idle down, and mpg up. Once you hit 2500mi (?) it'll kick you up to 73mph automatically, i don't know how to get 75mph though. Never had it.
Oh, well i don't know what that was about, i know sometimes Angel's drivers take time off and he gets behind so they'll send another driver to help out. I'm all North East so the only time i see another region is when i'm head'd home or leaving the terminal. I had an issue with getting home back in Nov when they bounce'd me out of the North East in to Angle's region, it took him three days to get me a load, not for a lack of loads, just that he had to take care of his drivers first, so for now on i load out of Canada back to Florida for home time.
On a side note, i'm beginning to hear more and more about these driver managers. Heard Jerri is a driver manager now, i thought all she did was answer phones, priors, and make ace manifests for the apple loads we have coming out of Canada. -
naw jerri has been driver manger she is mine she does a #### good job keeping me rolling i have know her for years before i ever got the job
