    Has anyone replaced the rear steer axle spring hanger on older style (2002) VN 610? The three bolts that go thru the hanger seem to also involve the motor mount. Wondering if I have to pull the tranny back and jack engine or can motor mount be removed without removing trans. The three bolts that go thru the hanger sheared off and now back of spring rests against frame rail.

    we used fork truck and stropes. Anyway all this procedure looked a bit dangerouse. Better use safer equipment

    yeah, Pablo. They built these Volvos with the driver in mind, definitley not the mechanic.
