Just a update on things. I should be attending school at roadmaster in columbus, ohio jan 28th. If not jan 28th then the 2nd week of february, its up to me, im thinking the 2nd week of february so I can study more and spend a couple more weeks with my kids before I begin my journey as a trucker. Im thinking of going to USX seeming as they are they only company that gave me a pre hire so far but roadmaster said I should get a ton more, but if transam gives me one im going with them for sure. Ill be keeping everybody posted about school on this thread and whatever company I go with ill make a new thread under the name of the company. Im extra excited to finally be starting my career, I have been wanting to do this for the longest and im just now 21(well oct. 28th I turned 21) and im ready to role. Hopefully I will have to chance to meet some of the people who post on here(the cool ones noth the ###hol3$).

Good luck Rollin! The "roach coach" stops by Roadmaster around 10 am. Sandwiches, pop, coffee, etc. There's a wafflehouse at I-70 and Wilson Rd and couple of truck stops. You can go in and chat with the drivers and see how they like who they drive for. Again, good luck to ya! I have a former co-worker who drives for USX ( Kroger day cab) and LOVES IT!! He went there after he did his year with Schneider.

Thanks y'all ill keep y'all posted. My dad drove on that same account with USX a couple years ago. Im excited as hell. Does the roach coach have decent food? More then likely ima be going up to the truck stop to grab something eat. I think that pilot right when you get off right there has taco hell or some restaurant in there, but if not then roach coach it is(I like that name, ima use it lol). Roadmaster seems like a good school from the phone conversation I had with the lady on friday, she seemed really positive and seems ready to help getting me into school. Im hoping my credit is good enough for them but if not I don't have a problem doing the $2500 things she was telling me about, thank god for income tax lol

Couldn't tell ya abaout the roach coach, I packed everyday. I would assume that it was good, same people got stuff off of it everyday. There is some old fart there named John that's an instructor on "the pad". He's a litte "feisty', lol.

Thanks dptrucker. Stay safe out there on the road. I know thats right cdl already cost way too much. My dad used to drive for them and they treated him really good, not like a number either, they actually know me cause i always with him on the road. Jmorgn i worked at a gas station eating them chicken sandwiches and all that so if its better then them then ill think its 5 star lol i know i keep saying im excited but I can't wait, I don't think y'all understand I been wanting to do this since I was in like 4th or 5th grade, Ill probably cry when I get my own truck im so excited lol I live for this
