Looks good. Just remember the more you do them the better they are going to look. Also i dont know what you are using but i use Hoosiers metal polish which i love. It last about 3 poslishings, that is rims, tanks, battery box, and tarp box. I do mine about every 3 months till winter then once a month in the winter.

less elbow grease... as mentioned before...the more you do them the better they look..
all at one sitting,, start with the rough then work your way down to the fine rouge.

The main thing is once you get your wheels and tanks all polished up make sure when you go through a truck wash you tell them no acid on the tanks and wheels or you will be doing it all over again. Acid is what takes the polish off and makes them look they way they do. Once you use acid on tanks and wheels you have to use acid every time to get them to look okay but never have the shine in the sun like when you polish them. Acid may clean things but always give them a dull look

Hes using Wicked Metal Polish. I recognized the Yellow plastic bottle. He got to get a polish buffer and do it again and again. Some drivers take it to a polish crome shop, have them celan it professionally and then you maintain it with the great look.

I've polishe several sets of wheels and tanks in our fleet, and the biggest difference is prep. I took and sanded mine down to 800 grit dry, and polished with a buffer and red rouge and finished by hand with white diamon aluminum polish. You can find at advance or most part stores. I got a mirror finish and it's held up great with little maintenance!

Use Billet polish as your final step, really makes it "Pop".

i am a fan of MOJO on the not so bad rims hand polish but it really does the trick but when they havent been done in a while 400grit sandpaper a 6,000rpm grinder 8" buffing pad 3 different cut's the brown bar and then the green bar
when i first got the truck tanks have never been done truck is 2001
after quick sanding and polished with grinder and brown bar
im gonna redo going through all the steps just need to stock up on equipment time and warm weather!
