USX drivers...how's your day??

Sorry I missed ya. I delivered at 3am then went to the J and slept. Woke up to a load going to lafayette, in. Went into the j to take a shower and there were 25 people ahead of me. I guess everybody was getting ready for a big Friday night on the town in Laredo...LOL

I very rarely stay at the terminal down there. That one gets my vote for worst terminal, slightly edging out Shippensburg.

Picked up my student Fri night in Irving. He seems normal enough. We'll be close to delivery in a few hours and go ahead and take it in first thing in the am.

 

What, the trailer driver lounge in Shippensburg better than Laredo's? Even the shower/bathroom in a trailer down there is better than Shippensburg's hot mess! Oh how I do miss those terminals!

 

what is everyone's average wait time for a load after you come out of hometime? me and my trainer have been sitting here in denver since 7 am.

 

We never come out of HT (leave the house) without a load.

That being said, our FM normally calls us with some load info around noon on the day we are supposed to go back out. Last time we did get an extra day though.

 

-2hr to +12hr is about right...

 

Also, Denver can be hard. They have run us empty to Kansas City from Loveland coming out of home time in the past. Also the slowest time of the year

 

Whichever one of the two I'm at is the one I don't like at the moment. LOL

 

what we started the drivers lounge at lincoln was a trailer

 

Now its a deserted building with no one around, no tvs and a bunch of empty vending machines.

 

Oh yeah, we're hanging out at the Markham terminal today until about 2pm if anyone else is around here.
