Sheez, I leave the forum for a little while and the drama pot stats boiling over....

For the record, in MY opinion, Yankee 71 sounds like a 14-year old messing around on his dads CB. ESPECIALLY that last post. Sheez. And I'm the profile goof ball around here; let's remember that.
losttrucker Thanks this. -
Going to Horizon City TX to drop a California bound load...and got my routing home for Super Bowl weekend. Grooving copacetic.

Dead stopped on I-80, brakes pulled. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah buddy. A little snow flies and everyone runs into each other and falls into the ditch.

I wanted to write about this a couple of weeks ago but couldn't transfer the picture. I finally got a pre-paid cell phone but barely know the features like how to send a picture to my computer. I was at the Columbus terminal and had to get up around 0100 to run the last leg of my delivery. It was super cold and I was crawling under the back of the trailer to look at the tandems, brakes, etc. As I was coming out, I got up a split second too soon and WHACK! hit my head. It hurt like he11, but you know how with banging your head there is a fine line between hitting it hard and splitting it wide open. I was praying to God that I had not sliced it and it was just a hard slam. But sure enough I started to feel the warm blood pouring down.
I was on a very tight schedule (trying to start my 14 at the last possible second) - so because of this I was extremely angry. I just held a paper towel to it and tried to blank it out of my mind. The rest of the morning was very busy so I never got a chance to look at it until that night - never cleaned it or anything. I happened to have a long layover so I checked into a Super 8 next to a TA. Where I had hit my head was along the back edge of the trailer where it is like a knife. I can only imagine there must be tetanus and every other type of germ, virus, whatever all over there. But by some miracle, it never got infected and seems to have healed up well. It was stupid of me not to go to one of those medical clinics, but I dreaded having to go through hoops with dispatch and deal with their usual bs.
I took a picture with the prepaid phone and have it linked HERE. I didn't want to put it directly on the forum because some people probably don't want to see an injury. But it just shows how easy it is to get f'd up doing something as basic as a pre-trip. -
I think Captain Zoom may just be on to something saying you are seeing like a 14 year old on his daddy's CB.
Plus, according to your location on your profile you are in Arkansas. So you are lying, not me.
