Congratulations on your retirement Rick! I wish you the best. If ya like Bass fishin try the Stick Marsh just West of Vero Beach! Watch out for the huge alligators tho! That was one of my favorite spots when I lived in Vero years ago.

 

I was in RAT (albeit for just a little while) and never got sent over there. I must not have lived close enough to justify them sending me over there. I always went to VA it seemed. Some OK, AR, MO too. Now, I am at the DUKE Travel Plaza off I77 & OH36 killing some of my clock before my 8pm Load apt at AK Coshocton, OH. Headed for Franklin Park, IL (Chicago) tomorrow. I am dreading doing this load tonite, -14 degrees with wind chill and very windy. Ugh..... Oh well! Gotta love flatbeddin'!!!

 

But you may be required to go sometime. However its not often. Once upon a time we didnt do any northeast or canada,gotta love change lol. Sucks for the company drivers

 

Fairfield, TX sitting in a gravel lot next to a BBQ joint for the night. 617 miles today and never went over 60 mph. 66 degrees here today, had to turn on sleeper a/c just to see if it works, it did.

 

Somerset PA on the turnpike. It is a balmy 0 degrees out and calling for windchill of minus 20 tonight! I'm headed near Toledo in the morning.
