You said your laptop gets good signal when the other devices don't. You can share that connection with other devices using the built in ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) that is already a part of Windows. ICS can be configured manually but it is much easier using a program called Connectify, which is available for free.

If you had a cheap USB wifi adapter, Connectify would take your laptops main wifi connection and share it with your other devices. The trick is having 2 network adapters on the main PC. I used Connectify to share my wired connection on my desktop with my wireless ps3 and our iPhones. I used a cheap wifi PCI card to set this up.

THX Basktcase: That is a good workaround and cheap but I dont want to pull the laptop out for some quick internet. I ordered that item I mentioned in the other post and I think it will solve 2 problems. It will pull in weak wifi and broadcast or connect via your phone or computer and broadcast. Either way the tablet will get a signal if one is in the area. Might even be able to pull in some Mcdonalds signals when they are on the TS lot. Some people use a Millenicom( Verizon) MiFi and connect it to that device. Works great but I am not ready to spend $70.00 a month for internet. Maybe later this year.
