    Got the dreaded phone call this morning...supposed to load in San Carlos CA a transformer going to MN....YUCK....why do they send us to the FROZEN TUNDRA...after we ROASTED all summer??????????????:biggrin_25513::biggrin_25511:

    Our dispatch has not came in yet so till it does we wont leave....it is a holiday weekend and we need permits to go into San Carlos and Monday is a holiday....

    OMG...that is freaking cold!! Yep the truck has a GREAT furnace in it and we have the sat dish (have to point this one) and the van has a heater in it too so we will be ok....but I HATE being cold....come on April! It is supposed to be 73 today and the weather will be nice till we leave CA. We load Wed and supposed to deliver the 28th weather permitting.

    It doesn't get cold in MN anymore, so no worries. It certainly doesn't snow either.

    oh you guys make me feel so much better!! 20's and 30's....yay...NOT!!:biggrin_25513:

    We are sitting in San Carlos CA...at least 65 out today!! Gonna load tomorrow so after they get us in the parking lot we are gonna go explore...I would love to go cross the Golden Gate Bridge.

    will post the loading pics later in the week...and if I get to see the bridge will post those pics too!:biggrin_255:

    We met Jim and Pam yesterday they are the new O\O couple that signed on and they told me about you. He said you got a real good deal. I hope you enjoy working with Combined and give it some time...sometimes things at Combined take a little while to work out. Be safe and maybe we will see ya out there somewhere.

    My orientation is complete and I'm headed from Iowa to Texas with cement truck parts. Not OS but sure to be OS out of Laredo. Nothing as LARGE as you guys but still OS.

    Ha tootie and Bo. your old truck was the shop queen and now mine has taken its place. in shop for the 3ed time this mouth. Combined is looking at get me something else to drive now that I will not go to Canada any more with this truck. its snowing here in Bleckly WV.
