I am from the Caribbean recently Migrate here, with over 13 years commercial driving experience of which 7 is with Tractor Trailer, I am living in CT. I got a job job offer with Schneider, trying to choose between Northeast JC Penny dedicated or Northeast Regional both will have me out for 5 days 1 1/2 or 2 days home on the weekends trying to figure out which might be better with miles, pay and overall a better job, the JC penny would have me operating closer to home I don't no I am thinking maybe I could be home more often on this account, would like to get some advice from anyone who might have some experience with this.
Which is better Regional or JC Penny dedicated

JCP dedicated, hands down. Will pay much better. As long as JCP is in business. I just read an article about them losing market share to other retailers.

I don't know about Schneider, but the regional routes I have ran were low on miles. Sometimes companies cannot get you home in 5 days unless you take shorter loads. I used to run from MN/WI to PA/NY/NJ and back. Sometimes 3 loads total but got home Friday. I never got more than 2000 a week.
On a dedicated account such as JCP, they may have plenty of miles or maybe it pays better. Ask your recruiter and assume they are telling 75% of the truth.
Good luck to you. -
Thanks alot I was really looking forward in doing the J C Penny but they have got enough drivers for the position now, seems I took a little to long to make my mind up, yeah it really sounds like it pays better too, what a pity lol .
