volvo 78O CB radio....

I seen drivers take the whole thing apart to do so door panel and all, I've talked to cb shops and they just run new on the out side.

 

Do it on pssenger side, wrap around the handle inside the door and out the door jam

 

I believe that plastic molding that sits next to the windshield and the door is called a paler I think, It has to be removed if you want to get to the wires in question from outside the mirror, the rubber molding on the door has to come off and the grab handle to get into the truck has to be removed.
I'm in the process of doing the exact same thing, I like my truck inside and out with no wires and strings bouncing around it's just me.

 

I thought maybe he was at a truckstop and needed it fast to roll down the road. Sorry. And yes I would make it right too. I like neat.

 

2 black plastic plugs in the back of the cover need to come off then 2 torx screws to take the cover off, bottom of mirrror brace has 2 torx screws, bottom mirror brace to door cover pops off.that will open up every thing from the door to the top of the mirror so you can run your coax
