You're just saying that because that's the lane you get all your good rates on LOL.

Sorry about the radiator. I'll have to catch up with you on that when time permits.

The delay you mention bears repeating. The only person your time matters to is you. With few exceptions, checking into a service dealer is like a sci-fi movie where time stands still. In fact you'll notice most driver's lounges are like casinos: no clocks. They really could care less. They get paid whether the work gets done in an hour or a week. My fault is that I have the patience of Job for about 2x the sensible time it takes to do something; however, the end of it is like a steep cliff. They usually don't see me coming when I turn into Mr. Hyde.

Check above for comments on each truck, but most of all , DON'T RUSH INTO ANYTHING, do your homework and ask questions. This place is a wealth of good knowledge, sometimes you have week thru a little bull but there are people on here that will help you.

As I said above, don't do anything EPA07 I got rid of a perfectly good Classic and bought a CRAPCADIA and it was the worst decision I have ever made. Got out of it and got a 387 with a pre EPA 07 and while it was HARD on fuel it wasn't a bad truck, I did all my homework and still spent $15 k getting things done the first year I had it... then it burnt to the ground..... I bought a new Volvo and so far like it and have had no issues, BUT... I will never own it without warranty, and any truck after 07 would be the same. The new trucks are too complicated.

Even an older truck can and will be very expensive, theses things don't Nickle and dime you to death they $1000 you to death, and very quickly.

    Good luck.

You seem very negative , maybe its time for you to stop driving . I think you are looking at it totally the wrong way. First of all , dont you already feel blessed to have this amazing vehicle that can pull 80k pounds? 2 nd of all You can Afford 3000 gross income loss.?? it says You are making good money. What about all the months you are not broken down and you are making nice $. Arent you saving that ???
    PLUSSSSS
Look at the majority of people. Going to work 8-5 5 days per week like ROBOTS . You think you can save money working 8-5 , home every day. Doing same crap all day.nope.
I have business plan . 3 years . save . and will see what happends. You can fail or succeed , but if you dont try succeed you failed already.
Its all about the way you see it ... It can either be positive or negative . Nothing else . . Its what you make it ...
    I have a 3 year plan.

You know my friend. The big lie is it's all about what you make it. You actually have little say so in the things that go on. You have no control over freight rates. You have no control over break down. All that positive thinking can't turn a crappy truck into a good truck. The people have said the trucks you have picked are money pit's. It's all good to have a 3 year plan, but you have to take it day by day. Buying somebody's old junk and 3 year plan and limited funds. Don't go a long way. It's smarter to take the wise counsel then lose somebody's money in a bad business plan. Now if you are going to get a new truck. Then that 3 year plan would look a lot better. Or your choice of used truck might even help. But telling everybody who is trying to help you they are being negative because you don't like the sound advice they give. Is being very childish. So if you are a real driver who is really going to do this. Then you may be blessed to heed the advice. Sounds to me like you are one of these guys who come on and change their name and probably don't even drive a truck. Put up a crazy post just to get people to respond to you. I'm not sure. I'd sleep better if you was the latter. Knowing somebody's hard earned credit and home won't be damaged because they gave a loan to somebody with a bad business plan. Time to unsubscribe to this thread. Rather see people talking about elogs or paper, or automatic transmissions verses manual. Good day sir.
