Recently I have seen numerous ads on craigslist looking for drivers. Is there a high turnover rate there? how many hours do drivers work normally to make 50-60 thousand? What hours and days do drivers normally work? any information would be appreciated.

They took over a big contract out of one of the ports, hence the twic card, newer trucks, decent wages but smelly dirty work with hoses and oil/gas hauling. Also will need haz endorsement. I believe you work around 10-12 hr shifts and the whole deal called for a hundred new trucks for them and probably 150 new drivers when its all done. I do OTR or I'd be calling them myself!!!

I believe they are working six days,as far as the hours I'm not quite sure obut the rumor down there was they wanted you back after a ten hour break. That was just the stories floating around the place I used to work for down there. They got the contract from one of the big phosphate companies that have a few facilities east of Tampa. They are hauling water, lime, and sulfur. The sulfur is what comes from the port there. I worked for the company that they are taking the contract from, never hauled the water and lime just the sulfur. The sulfur is hot, smells bad, and will stay stuck in your clothes. Even makes any clothes you wash with them smell like it. Not trying to scare anyone away as i would still be doing it if I hadn't had to come back to Ohio. Hope that answers some of your guys questions, wish I knew more to tell you but that's about all I can tell ya.

They got a bunch of pneumatic tanks, used to be all liquid but I guess cement and other solids are paying well... still looking for locals out of tampa area doing 12 on and 12 off. All pete's that I've seen... haven't caught any of their drivers parked to get the real story but....

A guy on Youtube called "trainerjames2013" works for them and can tell you all you need to know about Dillion. He does videos about his job and what he does there. He is in Tampa BTW. Thought I'd pass that along to help some of ya.:smt024
