i averaged 5.8 on my w9 with an isx 450. that truck didn't matter what speed i went.

i'm now driving a newer pete with an isx 485. that thing gets 5.2 - 6.7 depending on the speed and weight of load.

Well I didn't buy it, and I get the same mileage in a 2013 Cascadia! Besides the fact the I will take a little less mileage in a great truck than a throw away POS Freightliner. Real truckers drive big hoods! We will be purchasing a Studio W9 as soon as we can. Been in everything and that is the best! If you know how to drive it, you can get good mileage.

    I have flattop W9 cat 18spd....

    Pulling flatbed I got 6.6-----6.9

    Pulling hopper bottom 6.8-----7.4

    Pulling end dump 6.2-----6.7

Take that ugly a55 bubble truck, I'll keep my BRICK and go broke

I drove 900 Bs and Ls for over 30 yrs when i bought my own it was t-600 not cuz i wanted it but because it was the best deal at the time,,,, after 5 yrs in the 600 i would NEVER go back to a 9 unless it was free LOL!!! In or during tuff times 1 mpg could and will put you out of the BIZ esp if your allready running hard to keep afloat,,, go ahead and run stupid only one that will pay for it is you!

Now if ya got money squirting out you arse dont worry about 1mpg....

Agree with you 100%. If i was a roady running high miles at or near 80K, i would be looking for max milage.
Being stupid, here, i still run a 'B. I run a truck speced for the job. I consider milage secondary.I run local for the most part. Go off road, always heavy, so milage isnt great. Truck sees a fair amount of "abuse". The thought of running 3.36, 2.64 etc gears makes me cringe.

If you only got 6 mpg in a Cascadia then your doing something wrong. I drive a 2013 cascadia and was getting 8.5 before the change in fuels. Now I'm at 7.5 - 7.7.
