Not sure if that will fix the issue or not..... it was explained to me one fine day that it could state dependent for bridge law. It's like anything else computer related- garbage in, garbadge out. If the knucklehead who did the overlay for Nebraska saw the bridge law and assumed it meant the weight for an overpass- get the picture right? Thing is, this kind of stuff isn't solved till people call in about it. I have not been in Nebraska with the 760 yet. When I am I'll report any issues here. As was mentioned earlier, both the 560 and 760 have the same mapset. So this will be interesting to see.

Is it trying to get you off the interstate- take ramps etc or is it just showing the alert? You know it might be the road underneath the overpass that is triggering the alert. Mine does that from time to time and so did the 560.

You can see on the map there's no road underneath. I've tried to tell them about these bad weight limit markers but not only do they not listen, they keep adding more. This is a problem on all their units.

I guess those of us who own the Garmin need to slam thier customer service with this issue till they get it fixed. Hopefully it's a map issue. Something that can fixed in one of these quarterly up-dates.

just wondering what your axle settings are?

If you have it set to 34K/17T or something else.

I wonder what would happen if you set it to 20K/10T

    RedForeman Thanks this.

Mine doesn't have axle settings but I had to set the weight down to 70k because it kept telling me that I couldn't cross bridges limited to 40 tons. Derp. It also has length restrictions where the road is limited to 53 foot trailers but the unit is set to the total length of the truck. Freakin office people they have working for them haven't got a clue.
