I typically have $350-$400 per month in maintenance (1 PM each month) and I budget for $300 in repairs per month, and that is when I get the $$$ I discussed in my previous email. Obviously, unforeseen repairs or expenses will eat into the take home pay. If I'm not moving, I'm losing money.

The lease purchase is different from the drivers that already own their truck in regards to escrow, since there is a security deposit deducted from each check for the lease purchase. The escrow is $1000, deducted evenly on each paycheck.

 

You are right, this seems to be the one company that actually wants you to own the lease purchase truck. I think most of the trucks are Freightliner Columbias (condo). Give the Houston office a call and talk to someone in recruiting. They can give you all the specs. 713-784-2100

Good to hear you applied. Hopefully you will get approved soon. I'm still making money, as always. I stayed on the road during Christmas and New Years and made just as much money as in the summer months. The Company has pretty regular freight, which is nice.
