Does Maverick hire residents living in FL? If they do, which area?

I'm glad to see you've done your research and feel so highly of Maverick. I've drove for Maverick since 1989 and worked in the office for a year in recruitting. I am currently a trainer for Maverick drivers. It is my understanding that Maverick is doing away with putting drivers trough driving school but still accept drivers that go through school themselves. We will still train drivers to do flatbed work or that come from another school.
My suggestion; if you don't have driving experiance, and can't afford the 4k - 6k it cost for driving school; is to find a trucking company that will train you for free if you sign a 6month or year contract with them. Put in your time there, and then come to Maverick.
I usually only check this site every weekend when i'm home, but i'm home for the holidays right now, so if you have any quetions, let me know.

I want to go over the road with a company I have been accepted by the large companies but would rather go with a med. sized one. My biggest problem is where I live in Michigan. I don't see that as a big problem because I want to go over the road and they don't get much home time anyways. Does Maverick hire from N. michigan
ps. I did graduate from a CDI in South Bend IN this summer. and have the Transcript
