Go to the local truckstop on Saturday and offer a layover trucker $70 an hour to teach you-you will learn more and to h**l with a driving shcool.

I am confused. If someone signs a contract to get trained and leaves their commitment, why are they mad? They got the services of getting CDL training. Now if its the $6,000 they are made about then why did they sign in the first place? No one had a gun to their head. Contract training is an okay option in my opinion. I just think often times recruiters mislead people but if you have your facts straight you shouldn't have any issues.

I went to fta, a month ago and I enjoyed it everyone was going above and beyond to answer any questions and or concerns . I'd recommend this place to anyone everything was top notch imo.

Future truckers charge 3000 $ that's it.if u go threw driver solutions or another company they may send u to fta and charge u an extremely 2 or 3000 $..but if u go straight up on ur own its 25 to 3000$.just wanted to correct that

They always mislead the person. I have had a student on my rig and he started to get upset with me and the company because he was making a straight 300 per week. Which I was making a bonus when he upgrades, plus two other bonus and getting paid for all his miles. He signed the contract for 1yr or pay the 6k. I told him this was his choice not mine. Also stated to him that it seems he should of done a better job in researching about this career then believing a person on the phone telling him he would be making 40-50k for his first year.! Also telling him he would be out with a trainer for 2wks only.
Most of the new comers think it is easy out here. They don't understand it is hard to be away from family, friends, pets, etc. I always gave a run down on how hard it is out here and what kind of detachment they will face out here. Some will make it while others can not. -
how was the hotel there in asheboro im going to be going to fta soon and have to stay at that hotel thanks
