You guys have the fun. I just get to haul glass.
-
how hard is it hauling glass? i see lots of companies doing it but personally i couldnt do it. i would be so freaked out all the time that it was breaking
-
Hauling glass is NOT for the faint of heart. You glass guys are some of the best you know!! One day we will meet i hope!
-
Cowboy can tell you more than me...but Combined has a good training program i think. Yes, it breaks thats the way it goes sometimes...you take it from here Cowboy cause i know nothing about glass...

Where did Bo get all of his experience to move up to heavy haul? How long did it take from starting out in flatbed to get up to 9 axle heavy haul?
-
Glass can take a bbeating more than you think..if secured right. Where it breaks is the side to side when the trailer flex and twist there is a ton of work with hauling glass on a flatbed with setting up racks taking them down etc

Open a can of coffee to take out the smell,i rather smell coffee than smoke.I ran reefers and dry vans.i always had a can of coffeee to take out the oders from hauling certain loads.(Onions etc).

Bo has been flatbedding, stepdeck, RGN, for 30 years. His recent exp was a beam trailer with a jeep attached to it (4axle truck, 3axle jeep and 3axle trailer) and I take pics of EVERYTHING he does and i make sure he is in the pics working and doing stuff. He went to Combined to haul glass and after he got there and met everyone and was talking about past exp they saw pics and offered him the 9 axle. It took about 20 years but he really was not interested in HH till just a few years ago. Some guys at Combined have been moved up from the RGN's to the 9 axle trailers and they have been here for 5-7 years.countrymouse Thanks this.
