Doesn't sound right to me. Mine never says over speed unless I go over 70. And of course that can only happen down hill. Every once in awhile I will bump that and then over an over speed of like 0.01%, because its only for a second or two.
Roll Over Every Hill Last is what R-O-E-H-L really stands for!

Mine claims iam overspeed alot, i tend to ignore it. I only worry about the excessive speed thing. that only triggers when you hit 71. They tend to dislike when you break 71 mph.
-
I've always heard hit 75 mph and lose your job lol. I hit 70 alot never hear anything. My fm doesn't harp on the little stuff as long as I make him happy with everything else with the job. I try not to hit it but when heavy in big hills or even mountains its a p.i.t.a.GOlson Thanks this.

I have never been harped at on little stuff either. I have broke 73 74 ish before and never heard crap about it. But I just got a new FM and iam still trying to figure out how hes going to be.
but yeah mountains its easy to break 70's when heavy as heck.GOlson Thanks this. -
Thanks all! Since it is the trainers truck I'll tell him not to worry about it, and just watch the 75 rule when he gets his own truck. - Should

It's just when u hit 70 the Qualcomm beeps or if you have it turned all the way down like me and the music up I can tell I hit 70 by one of the door speakers going out til I get back under 70. It's not like riding 70-71 and above for longer than half a sec most times. Is your friend in a owner op trainer truck? If he rides cruise to save on fuel that's good, or a pedal jammer like me it's ok just have to watch in the mountains or hilly terrain.

Yep 75 is the magic # that will get you a sit down to decide your fate.

I don't concern myself about that 75 rule.

Maybe they would and maybe they wouldn't but if every driver out there tried to save their company some money in gas, it might mean a little better pay.
Or, what most people would say, it would just mean more money for the company and continue to screw the drivers. -
Well no one knows until it has been done and with some of the attitude drivers already have (specially new ones) it won't ever change.
I've talked to new drivers who done this for a month and think that it's all about get it there fast and mpg takes back seat. All reality? Your going 2 mph faster then the cruise. What is 2 mph going to do? And it's BS if any one says that will make or break you because if you plan properly then it won't.
Ontop if you can only make it there by going 63 the entire time that means your guns hot and door shut.. Which is a once in awhile deal.Bayle and technoroom Thank this.
