I do know people like him that I served with. They were good Marines but always had piss poor attitudes and they sound a lot like your old driver.

Perhaps I said that badly Steve. I'm just trying to help a guy. I'm sure you are right and do know what yer talking about. In another post remember I told him that IF he can maintain...IF he can't don't drive? He's the only one that can answer that question. I meant no insult to you.

I have anger/depression issues too but try to keep em down by just being nice. Not always easy but it works for me. The madder I get, the nicer I become. That guy was an a-hole and probably was before he had an excuse. I don't think Popeye is an a-hole! He asked for our help! I bet your a-hole wouldn't have done that.

Again I apologise for insulting you. Didn't mean to.

i havent been in combat, or in the military/navy or coast guard and at times i could have claimed to have "ptsd"...depression,anger,rage,flashbacks and panic attacks are NORMAL to a certain extent..its called LIFE, sometimes #### doesnt slide past you, it hits you hard and you DO have alot of time to think while driving, man up. I wouldnt disclose anything... if he gets into an accident or road rage's then he will pay the price, otherwise i would say hes as qualified as anyone else.

UH...No its not....2 completely different animals...I say that with respect...but if you haven't experienced combat sir...you can't even compare it to LIFE....Not trying to be a smart aleck just stating a fact.

Some people have no clue what it's like to live life always watching your six. Never knowing who is around the next corner waiting to kill you. They don't know what it's like shaking hands with someone one day and the next they are trying to kill you. They don't have a clue about sleeping with one eye open. They don't know how their mind will react once they have multiple brothers KIA right next to you while you continue to fight while you are covered in their blood when you tried to save them. They don't know what it's like to live everyday knowing you might not get out. They don't know what it's like to flatline a target. There is no way you can compare life to the brutality of war. So what you couldn't pay your bills. So what you lost your car. So what a check bounced. So what your wife ran off with Johnny. IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE.

I read the individual and not the excuse, Hunter air field had all types of Army on post so that does not make a uber special black ops ninja.

What does being a Marine have anything to do with a person not having control of their emotions?

Aiwiron it was a joke don't take it so personal there. I have a couple of Marines that work for me I rag them all the time. I was in the Army so I rag on everyone just like all the other branches rag on each other. I get ragged on by my brother (Air Force), my step dad (Navy), friends and workers (Marines). I don't take it personal it's always been part of it.

Last I saw I don't make excuses. Never have never will. I don't use my MOS or training to get respect I don't have to. I don't advertise it. There is not one mission I completed I myself didn't do anything so I deserve nothing. We did it as a team. We accomplished the task at hand. I myself was just a spoke in the wheel to get the task done. I understand that everyone has their place even the REMFs. It takes a team to accomplish the mission not an individual. I have nothing to prove and I believe you know that. Don't really know why you think you have to try to show out on a website and try to belittle someone that you know nothing about. You state you read the individual but you know nothing before you try to judge. Usually people do that when they feel their ego is at risk or they feel they have to try to out do someone good luck with that though it doesn't work.
