I've wondered about that myself. I was talking to Tom and mentioned to him that in the 5 months I've been driving this truck I've blown out more tires with this truck then I have in 32 years of driving. And I am wondering if I have a black cloud over my head.

No black cloud for you John, it's all mine alone and not sharing it with any of y'all! ;-)

I've got the black cloud thing going on as well. How else can you explain how a 24/7/364 dedicated account could go so bad. My company has had this deal for 5 years now and it ran strong winter or summer. Never a slowdown, except for the odd occurrence of a production line breaking down. I come on board, and in less than a year....bang, severe slowdown that no one has an answer for.

I'm home. Got here at 6pm. Same routine for tomorrow, then load again Saturday in Belle Glade for a Monday delivery in Jersey again. The weather was horrendous coming south. Between the heavy dense fog in Pa, to the high winds, tornado watches and driving rains through the Carolinas I felt as if I pushed this load the 1350 miles.

I think that black cloud might just be the Pittsburgh winter Logan. It was so nice Tuesday, and now I'm waking up to 15 and snow, I'll be glad to see spring, hopefully old Punxy Phil gives us some good news tomorrow.

I'm home. Got done with my first drop this morning at 5:45, then was done with my second drop at 8am and home at 9am after going to the bank to deposit the comcheck advance from last week that was sitting on my desk at home. It's the first time in almost four years I've had to use a comcheck for part of my pay, the people in the bank were looking at me like I had 3 heads.

I thought I would throw in a payroll update from the fiasco from last week. It was there and it was right. I just have to accept the fact I handed it in late last week. Right. I'm still trying to figure out how Tom handed my trip envelopes in along with his, 3 hours before cutoff, he gets paid and I don't, then I have everyone telling me I missed the cut off time. Oh well, next time I'll make sure it's in on time......lol
