Yep, that's what it is. Put it in a slip seat box and get to work early is all I know to tell em. My dad used to do that every morning for 43 years Haha it can be done, it's just do they want to do all the work. You can hook it to the battery on a sleeper truck and hide it. That or hook it right into the fuse panel if you can and know how.

Trust me you don't want to hook an amp to the truck's fuse panel unless you want to meltdown the trucks wiring and/or severely limit how much power your amp will produce.

    I didn't mean a 500 Watt amp Haha I meant a 94 or 98 galaxy something like that.

Even a Galaxy 98 VHP you don't want to run off the fuse box.

150 watts from a converted cobra 29 or a two
pill amp producing 150 watts is going to draw
the same amps. So the wiring to the battery would
    be the same.

ive only had my rfx-75 for a day now but it didnt really heat up at all, i had MAD electronics in delmar delaware do it, and everyone says its loud n clear from about 5-7 miles away, much cleaner and better looking than a linear in my opinion....

I seriously wouldn't risk it. I saw a guy's truck burn to the ground with him in it.

I ran mine directly off the battery for performance and safety reasons.

    Yikes.

Back in my teen years when I was still into car stereos, I attempted to run a 125 watt car stereo amp main power wire from a small 14 gauge wire off the fuse box because I wanted to have a killer stereo and didn't have drill for the wire plus there was no other way of running it thru the wire wall.

Then later on I went to unhook it from the fuse box only to find the wire off the fuse box was melted. I'm lucky it didn't burn my classic Chevy Nova right on to the ground. After that I started paying a car stereo shop $10 to drill a hole in the firewall while cutting the dash out for the stereo. (didn't have the tools to do that either)

I've ran a cobra 29 with a 300 W amp to the box and never melted anything in a car
