I always have this question about aftermarket stuff like Bully Dog and the illinoisdyno center. If they can improve performance and efficiency, why doesn't the manufacturer do it?

 

companiers don't want fast powerful trucks..... do you realy want some NEWBIE running 600hp with 2100lb torque running up and DOWN the hills,
CARB doesn't want dirty trucks.....

 

x2 on CARB not wanting it. the manufactures are all kissing Cali's ### with this EGR BS....no other state requires EGR's. that's why you cant get fuel milage or power in a truck anymore without going to some sort of aftermarket dealer

 

I have been watching you close every time some body mention ecm flashing or tuning you pop up, are you related or associated with this IllinoisDyno dudes, have you have anything done by them.....ect.
do you have any dyno sheet's with before and after? if you have it will be really nice to share results.

they do it to and cheaper..but can anyone say if they did egr delete (from ecu)on d12?where?and how it works for them..thx all 4 your help.

 

From what I understand there is about 136 fuel maps that have to be changed, And about the same for the torque curve also, each one of them has EGR maps attached to them, each one of those maps have to be change takes the computer in question about eight hours of downloading and checking that's why that they have it there for couple days. The E square proms that sits on the Volvo ECM it's not very fast, so downloading does take a long time.
