Half the guys over here at Midwest were with IT too. Half have retired now, but we still have a few around.

Midwest has always been one of the best. Al Koenig was an old IT guy himself. I was always curious if Anderson would ruin Midwest but it sounds like they have left you alone pretty much.

Swift, DM Bowman, Maverick, and PGT all haul that steel that I grab sometimes coming home out of E. Chicago going back to Pittsburgh...Cheap, Cheap, Cheap.

They pretty much left us alone. Only thing that changed was we now get a fuel discount!
A couple of guys quit when the deal went through with ATS, regardless of anything else that would or would not happen.
Biggest difference is, we are actual owner operators here, and not fleece drivers. Most of us came from other companies that let us run the way we wanted to, and few of us would put up with the crap that ATS dishes out to their own guys. I have ran with a fair few on wind, and the stuff they put up with is ridiculous. Part of being a truck "renter" I guess....

I still keep in touch with some of the drivers over there.
I guess the hand holding is getting worse.
ran with 2 old friends first part of last week. Both of the lds. going to the port in Savannah.
Well the rear pilot car driver gets sick at the scale on I16. I go ahead and go in to del.
The owner of the pilot car asks me if I would help get the ld. into the port. No problem, They are friends. Well their office would not let me do it, even though I still have a valid pilot car. cert..
I guess my name is still mud there, with everything still going on.
I just wanted to help out 2 friends

    Logan76 Thanks this.
