Don't know if they closed it but I do know its being torn down at some point. Think pilot/flyin j is gonna build there.

Yep, Closed at midnight last night I was told.
A guy that I know told me that when he woke up this morning it was closed.
He also said the Landstar agent who rents space was told to be out at the end of the month.

The sad part is the fact they are ripping it down. That place isn't that old.

I read in another thread that P/FJ bought it, but you know how those rumors go....the story goes on that they're tearing it down to rebuild it in the FJ image....I guess.....

According to the local paper Pilot/Flyin J submitted building plans to Stark County Board. The paper called the Pilot headquarters but they never returned their call. According to the paper no deal is set in stone yet, but I'd wouldn't think this guy would shut it down without having it sold...

Well he might have sold it. But then Pilot might of been slow getting the new plans approved. One of the things you need to do is have a approvial made before buying a new property.

You might get stuck with a lot and can not build on it. Some times even though you are buying a bussiness and want to keep it them same type it can get held up in the zoning rules for new bussiness..
Depends on the city or county you are dealing with..
God forbid there is ground leakage from the tanks. That will cost you big time..
