    There are lots of stupid laws in this country... but they are the law.
    California restricts trucks to the right lane except when passing on a two lane directional road and prohibits the use of any lane left of the right two lanes on roads with three or more lanes in one direction. (unless allowed by sinage.)
    Just live with it and get on.
