Look Moron, I am not staying with Interstate to prove any points to you. I have elevated to Interstate from May, an Entry Level Company with Entry Level Pay. I have my plans for when this truck is paid off and OTR is not the plan.
Why would anyone with a lot of experience stay at an Entry Level job?

paloma - Have you read their thread. Most have nothing but sh@t to talk about furniture row! Let me hip yall to something yall are not understanding yet. Many of the problems yall have, are problems with the industry not this company or that company! Stop your $#$%# wining and do some f3$@ trucking!

I can understand why Steve is defensive of May. They did him right during a tragic period of his life awhile back. That kind of experience illicits a genuine loyalty.
However, the flip side of that kind of loyalty is that it can generate a sort of indifference and ####iness towards others who don't have the same type of affinity, for whatever reason.
I've read things that Steve has written about Swift Trucking where he criticizes them up one side and down the other publicly using the same type of vitriol he is unhappy about here. Yet, I have a friend at Swift who is a lifer and absolutley loves it there.
So, the moral of the story is, one man's negative perception, is another man's positive reality.FXDLTRUCKA98, Paloma and platinum Thank this. -
Wrong May Lover .. I love this Industry, been studying it for many, many years .. I have a problem with May, not as an Entry Level Company, in that respect I think they are OK. But I have a prob with them once you have experience, they treat ya like crap and like a 2 year old.
I am sooo happy where I am now and will stay here for a while until my next chapter starts.
if you stay with May, an Entry Level Company with Entry Level Pay .. Then you have no motivation to move forward and up .. Which is fine if thats what you want.
The only one on here I see whining is you .. As you try to defend May. -
I believe that any one of these companies could be retirement companies. You have the experience you choose to have. I don't find it necessary for someone to make steps through trucking. like step one ) work at may. step two) work at interstate step three ) i got some B#lls now I think i will go and finally file for my own authority. blah blah blah... You don't have no plan just excuses. I knew you had no long term plans to stay at interstate, I guess i just got lucky on that one huh??? Maybe I'm a fortune teller?. AND BTW I never defended may you guys are right in saying they have changed in 2012 I agree with that 100 %.
-
On that I agree .. Steve, if yer happy at May, fine .. But you cant diss companies you don't work for. Yer thinking of the new Interstate is 100% incorrect. You know nothing about how they now Operate .. i too know people that have been there for years and stuck it out with them during the hard times and the transition with new owners. Why did they stay? Miles and they way they were treated .. Like professionals.
So compliment May all you want, but dont open that yapper about a company I am at and know about.platinum Thanks this.
