You sound like me. Now I do bs with a couple of Drivers out of Mogadore. Other than Treefork, Lantern and a couple Drivers I have met at a terminal. I pretty much keep to myself.

    Treefork Thanks this.

Nope I don't think so but if it was my own truck I woulda went 58. I own my own truck and I'm happy to get a 6.4 at 58

I am buying my first truck at the end of the month and i have requested it to be governed at 65 cruise and 70 pedal. I dont see and reason for it to go any faster than that.

When i was with my trainer he had a ungoverned truck, granted he never let me drive speed limit but let me get it up to 70 or so for a good run up a hill.

    Congrats my friend.

What year truck you leasing? Might just be my logic behind it but aren't you worried about the damage that can be done to the transmission having students? I've never been a trainer so I don't know the reality of how much students grind. Or have seen the effect of constant wear because of it.

I am leasing a 07 columbia. The reasoning for this is the payment is lower at $400/week but also this is the truck students are training in. MY thought is that they should be less likely to grind in it than a prostar which shifts much differently. The truck only has 226000 on it so i figure by the time the 3 year lease is up i will be reay to stop training and get a nice cummings powered prostar at that time (or whatever tickles my fancy) and quit training.

Ah so it's one of the trucks that were parked for awhile. Hopefully not to faded if it is. Yeah I leased a 07 to because of pricing. I don't train though plus I run flats.
