First off this isn't even the correct thread to post such information. I'm sure if you look on here just a little bit you'd find out you could have posted it under "Good and Bad Trucking Companies". Secondly, I think you failed to interview the company properly as duck65 said. Your half hearted research and lack of investigation gave you what you needed. I hope you learned from this hard lesson.

I'm 6"1' 190 lbs but have a neck size of 18 1/2 in. (I lift weights and used to box). I sleep like a baby. If some clown at a physical would suggest that I need a sleep apnea study based on my neck size, I would put him to sleep. One size does not fit all. Nevertheless; physical conditioning is a huge problem in our industry. The combination of sitting still all day and poor food selections at truck stops doesn't help. The "exercise" rooms at truck stops are few and far between and not well equipped. It's a constant struggle to remain fit. Having said that, many truckers seem to be their own worst enemy with regards to their health.

Thanx. I had no idea. My ex used to complain about my snoring. She also complained about my tossing and turning, getting up to use the bathroom, my cat jumping up on the bed, the noise from traffic, earthquakes, thunder, rain, you name it. All things being equal, I would rather have sleep apnea than insomnia. At least I feel refreshed when I waken, which is the whole point of sleeping as far as I'm concerned. And when I feel tired, I take a nap. Trucking companies hate that too.

No, they hate it because you miss their stupid Qualcomm messages.
