Last day for Windows 8 cheap upgrade price

Let me know when you want to upgrade to DOS 3.1

 

I have some tax programs that date way back to then. My tax programs are more important to me.

I am never in a hurry to change for just some dumb reason. I made the beg mistake of buying DDL. It limits the amount of computers it can be on. I am now on the third one. I either have to buy a new one with them or a different program.

 

This is the link to the Start 8 information on CNET. The actual program is available from StarDock and is like $4.35 or close to that. It will boot the machine right to the desktop and includes a start button and menu just like on Windows7. So far at least it's working pretty good for me and goes right past that Metro page of icons. The default desktop on Windows8 does not include a start menu or button- this is at least one way to get that back. If one is willing to do a search on CNET, there are other programs free and pay-ware that do the same thing.
