So I have a question, I've applied at Schneider and Maverick, both turned me down. Now I was going for a pre hire (as I went through a recruiter) and I am about to graduate from a school they both recognize. I have a crystal clean MVR and criminal record. I of course got a FCRA letter from both and upon contacting both places, they couldn't give me a reason, except that a hiring committee makes the decision and it's final.
Any advice would be nice, and to beat it all schneider hired one our students who has a DUI conviction and a misdeamor drug charge with a wreckless driving conviction in the last 3 years. go figure

It seems like becoming a truck driver is becoming harder and harder, while at the same time staying a truck driver is getting harder and harder.
All because of guvmint regulation. Not to mention the ensurunce cumpnies.
Pretty soon all those people making all those regulations will not be able to feed or clothe themselves, nor will they have a house to live in, because there will be no one to drive all those supplies to where they need to be.
I wonder who is the more ignorant.
The uneducated and low skilled drivers, or the smart and educated law makers.
