Had one of those in Boston when I was with Holland. Park on the street and wait for them to come get you. They would block the street, a busy one I might add, and then direct your blindside backing into their dock. Ended up blocking the number two lane with they unloaded me and then they guided me out and back onto the street. They closed up the trailer and down the road I went. The dock guys were really good at blind side directions.

Rolled into the mothership about 2130 tonight. A nice tidy 2007 hub miles in 3 days
Unfortunately no dice on a load as of yet for tomorrow.
Kutina Thanks this. -
Got 6 load offers for today with one of them being Long Island, no thank you sir for that one
The other 5 all in the upper Midwest or Ohio Valley so I decided to take a 3 stopper up to Beaverdam, Wisconsin. Weather looks like it will be ok. Load was supposed to be ready at 1000 but wound up not being ready until 1500 which put me smack into Dallas rush hour traffic. Made it to the OK/MO line and will be heading to Spring Valley, IL for my first stop on Sunday morning. Grill fired up and steaks at the ready for a midnight dinner.

After making delivery in Cheyenne Wednesday afternoon there was no backhaul forthcoming so I spent the night at the Loves. Thursday morning at 1100CT I got load info, picking up in Green River,WY on Friday morning going to Georgetown,SC for whenever I wanted to deliver. With only a few hours work on Wed & Thurs, I had plenty of hours available to push hard for a Monday late morning delivery.
So here I set in Ina,IL ready for bed. Then another 600+ mile day tomorrow to make it to the Loves in Newberry,SC by tomorrow night before the last 180 miles to Georgetown. Hoping to reload in Riceboro,GA Tuesday going back to DFW area for a Thursday morning delivery so I can high-tail it home Thursday afternoon. Wife and I are attending a marriage retreat in Kerrville,TX Friday night hosted by our church. But we want to go a day early if I can get home at a reasonable time on Thursday. Wish me luck! -
jdrentzjr Thanks this.
