There is a class action lawsuit against Lone Star Delivery for non-payment of overtime hours and tax evasion and cheating drivers on commision checks. Several warehouse/office/hourly driver workers were not paid overtime due to them. I am one of the people represented in the lawsuit. If you need more info just message me or reply here on the thread. Thanks.

If you would, tell us about it whatever details you feel comfortable with sharing. There is always another company just around the corner that is going to do the same thing to employees and you might be able to provide information so that others might be able to detect earlier when it is happening to them.

This company was only paying straight time to company employees, even for hours worked past 40. The 1099 drivers were not told beforehand what a run would pay out, they were told to take the run or not and the had to wait 2 weeks to get their commision check to find out how much each run paid

    GoneButNotForgotten Thanks this.

Gee, sounds as if they might have been trying to stretch the law in the overtime thing, and just pure take advantage of some suckers on the 1099 part. Let me guess, a very high turnover?

Yup,very high turnover. I just quit myself last week as they called me driving back from Missouri to Houston,Tx at the Texas/Oklahoma border and complaining I was taking to long and they were going to stop my time. I was driving a 24 ft boxtruck on hourly pay. I told them if they stop my time that they could come pick up their truck in Oklahoma and hung up. I was pissed, but waited 15 mins then called back and told them I would drive the truck back regardless if they pay me or not and I soon as I get back there I was quiting
