Most of the consultants we work with have ten or more years of experience in frac. The cdl just gets you in the door of a frac company but its a very small portion of what you do. Frac is not like hauling water or sand or oil you will actually work hard. I hauled water for four years and spent two of those as a truck pusher and I feel like I completely wasted those years. The ability to advance is so much bigger in frac and its not a dead end boring job it's a challenge pretty much everyday.

What kind of hours are you guys getting in that area? I'm interested in being closer to a big city. I really like the DFW area.

Quick question for you guys hauling crude down there in south Texas (Corpus Christi) area. What is the going rate for a 1099 driver in that area? I'm looking for percentage of truck not hourly wages. I've got an offer for 25% of gross to haul crude but that sounds a little low to me. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
