I have an opportunity to hire on with Wilbur Ellis - Agribusiness Division in my local town to haul dry fertilizer, liquid fert in small poly nurse tanks, and seed etc,. I have an excellent "in" to get the position but I have no idea what the job may entail. They will train me but I would like to get some sort of idea what my duties may be, types of equipment used, etc,... so I can at least hold a some what intelligent conversation with the hiring manager.
Hell, I don't even know what type of trailer I would pull? Hopper bottoms maybe? All I know is it's seasonal (March-November) with a tremendous amount of hours. Just looking for any insight from someone who has either worked for Wilbur Ellis hauling fertilizer or from anyone who has hauled dry fertilizer.
