Trailking actually has a recommended top speed that comes with the trailers supposed to be given to the buyer, I pulled a 4 axle, trailking and a booster, and jeep setup the booster and jeep rig did not have any recommendation except "backing with this configuration can be dangerous and lead to injury" well no kidding mental injury lol

Who was it on the stinger it had a sticker, that the lock was not designed for backing loaded?
-
Not true for Cat or alot of machines. A Cat 315 is only 18 to 20 ton's depending on specs so the model numbers do not mean wheight.
-
Go to www.ritchiespecs.com and they have the dimensions, weights, for #### near most pieces of equipment.
Flatdecker and SHC Thank this. -
I was going ot say the same thing but ya beat me to it. A broker gave me the above website when i called about a piece of equipment. Comes in very handy
-
ritchiespecs.com is a great site but remember that it lists the dry weight of the unit. Does not include the weight of fuel, hyd. fluid, mud etc.
-
The 3 in Cat excavators is the series number and the rest is the machines dry weight in tons. A cat 315 is a 15 ton unit, a 325 is 25 ton and so on
-
BINGO!!! As said previously, ritchiespec is a fairly accurate guide, but dont count on it for 100% accuracy. Sometimes advertised figures dont always match. Attatchment options, track width options, blade, bucket options etc. etc. There can many variables...

rule of thumb if a customer says it weighs a certain amount always expect it to be more.
Speedemon1084, baha and DocHoliday Thank this.
