    Hi i have 15 months experience with a clean mvr. Ivan run any miles givin to me. I can drive 8 10 15 or18 speed to with paper logs. Do i need to put in more dues b4 looking for an o/o to work 4. The big companies have no miles and pay nothing.I'm looking for 3000 plus miles. I'm a young dad just supporting his family not looking for a free bed

    You are a lot more likely to get better pay and miles (cough, can't believe I am talking about miles) from a larger company. Not sure where you are looking but someone with 12 months, clean MVR and clean inspection is in hot demand.

    Thats typical with those companies ever thought about running line haul? Pays pretty good usually home every night too. 500-600 miles a night plus drop and hook pay. Might be something to consider of you live by a saia terminal (not tue only carrier but they do pay very well). And if you can last 10 years you get free health inaurance. Good luck driver but having an driving for an o/o or small fleet might not be your best option right now.
