after orientation... on the road with trainer...

From previous posts on this forum, Im pretty sure its same sex.

 

I actually don't know what one would be worse....

 

Depends some on if you are married or not. Some places like Prime have been known to hook you up with a female driver. The two companies I was with, they were all male drivers.

Just remember. If they tell you that you have to do all the night driving. Ask them if they will compromise and let you start your day at night. That way if your team driving it is a 50 50 drive at night.

Also helps if you lay out ground rules. You are a person too. They might be a trainer, yet that doesnt mean they have the right to walk all over your civil liberties.

 

Ihave seen both ways with trainers, ground rules are a must I agree. what company are you training with? it may help to answer.Good Luck

 

I had a female trainer.. worst six weeks of my life, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only student she had that finished training and went solo

 

When I was training with Crete, I said I did not have a preference, I just wanted to get on the road, they said that they do their best to pair you with same sex, they only pair you with opposite sex if there is no other choice.

 

When I was going through orientation there was a girl in my class. She got paired with a male trainer and she got a hotel room every night. Guess it would make for more of a headache, but she said it went fine.
