whats that suppose to mean?
Chinatown Thanks this. -
It means that this question seems to come up daily, if not twice daily. The scenarios are mostly the same, I got a DUI 2 years ago, last year, 6 month ago, what can I do. Unfortunately, you now have a leper mark on you. In fact you have two. You have a DUI and past driving experience. Both rate about the same to the big driver mill carriers. They want fresh meat they can use, abuse, and starve in order to keep them behind the wheel rolling.
You don't state where you are from, but Carolina Cargo in Rock Hill SC hires a lot of felons and gives them a second chance to get on with life. Of course, they don't pay much and take some advantage, but when you have nowhere else to go, and that's what you want to do, you take what you can. You can give them a call. I don't know their policy on DUIs.jayandawn and WV_Daddys_Girl Thank this. -
McD's is hiring.

Some companies, very few, bend their own rules. As "stranger" posted, Carolina Cargo is one of them. Put in as many online applications as you can and wait for an answer.

Dont bother looking for the union label they put everybody out of business. Yes I was union the only thing they did for me was take 30 bucks a month for dues bunch of crooks. So what if these guys ask ? about dui policys seems to me that there thinking far enough ahead to make a smart decision about trucking. Sorry if I dont respond right away I drive for a living.Go for it jayandawn there are reputable companies that will hire you. Your doing the right thing researching it, you just have to wade through the bs on these threads to find solid answers. My ? is why is someone a member since 2009 and still a student maybe a few skeltons in that closet. Can you say would you like to supersize that order.
