Did you bump an angled dock with the tandems far forward? Have to watch out for that as you can bend the bottom door hinges.

Somethings fishy.... You've been driving for 30 years and have never had this problem? Happens to me a few times a month! The trailer is a rectangular box with little cross member support and the very slightest uneven ground will throw the shape of the trailer off kilter and the rear door opening will no longer be in square or have 90 degree angles. So until you get to where you are on fairly level ground the squared off doors won't line up with the funky angle of the door opening.

Next time you see someone pulling out of a dock or backing or doing any kind of driving with the trailer doors open watch the back of the trailer and you will actually see the door opening shift from side to side. Flimsy as a cereal box!!!

If you ever pull rail trailers or even reefers this problem will be reduced significantly because they are built with a little more support.

As for the 30 years as a trucker, I'm calling you out!
