I made this vid for some of the guy's at work . At work your either an operator or a driver . There has always been a friendly running argument over who was more important . I won that day .

Well tell me how the trucks would get it there if the equipment hadn't built the roads . Hoffman Historical.jpg

I'll tell you one thing . I've operated equipment in all weather and never heard an equipment operator say he couldn't work a ten or twelve hour day without stopping for a nap . Most equipment doesn't have a/c . Some doesn't have heat and none have cruise control . Ever hear of an equipment operator mill ?

I hope this is being taken as humor . That's what was intended . As for myself , I am a truckerater . Which mean I log a ton more hours on the truck than miles . 1st in to the job last out . I am actually on both sides .

Yeah , no problem . I favor operators though . My father was a dozer operator . The company he worked for bought a new D7 in 1957 and he operated it for 12 years .
I operated various equipment in Arkansas in the 70's on the construction of I-430 and I-630 around Little Rock and the widening of US 71 from Bella Vista to the MO state line .
