I don't think I have experienced a slow down with the 720 except where refreshing one of the wifi related overlays. I know when I've zoomed completely out to see the weather on the entire lower 48, it can take a while to draw the overlay. If one is zooming in and out when an overlay is in place then that's a lot a stuff to refresh. Never thought about how much memory might be involved. Is there dedicated graphics memory or is it all shared? Probably propriatory information there.

Had to go to Long Island a couple weeks ago, The GPS did NOT want me to cross the Washington Bridge. Went to Mattoon WI yesterday, The unit wanted me to go up a road that has not been plowed this winter. Co Rd. Q off of WI 29 is closed, Wasn't a big deal. But sure took me off guard.

Set for 48' 96" for the GW bridge if you wish to go across it. Certain parts of I-95 there are Non-STAA tagged by NY DOT.

As far a a road being closed due to not being plowed? That is a state's decsion and not a mapset issue. It takes up to a year for any map updates to hit the system. This would not be considered construction either. So, this would be a local issue of a road closure.

    thanks,
    Mark

Yea, I'll put the WA bridge in to the system, One thing nice is, I been through there enough times that I could ignore the thing.

It is just a issue while running the overlay radar, I usually leave unit on for a few days at a time. Just got back after 2 days off and used these functions seems to work fine, I will make point of powering off at the end of each day.
    Thanks

Update: I used it again for a week and find that whenever I search for parking, weigh stations, CAT scales or truck dealers by any criteria of My Truck, City, Route, End of Day, or destination it couldn't find anything even though the icons would appear on the map and I could click on them for more info and to route to them. I ran the diagnostic and repair again and it seems to have fixed it after fining a few bad files (the same ones as last time). I'll try it out again to make sure.
