Cannot believe how regressive the law in the USA has become. No, there are no more rights anymore,
not for men nor for women. We all get shafted equally.
This is a real heartbreaker for many, and it will probably lead to fewer women in trucking than ever.
Yeah, CRST said they had policies for sexual harassment in place. All the carriers have those policies.
Read the Driver's Handbook. It is always there in black and white. So comforting.
So what good is it, when the rubber hits the road?

Monika Starke is now the only remaining plaintiff, because 150 other women had their cases
thrown out, not for lack of evidence, but because the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is
being reprimanded for not getting all their interviews done and facts filed and documented during the discovery period;
and for not seeking informal settlements in advance for all the claimants of the class action lawsuit.

is another question.

actually grant CRST $4.5 million in legal fees from the government commission, but that was set aside by the
8th District Circuit Court of Appeals.
CRST CEO David Rusch says the company will now sue the EEOC to try to recoup the $12 million it spent hiring lawyers
in preparing to defend itself against the other claimants, whose cases were dismissed by Judge Reade.
"Reade acknowledged that she threw out potentially worthy allegations by dozens of women..."
