Forgive me if this is a stupid question but with a rig like yours wouldn't it be better to run a tri axle tractor... Maybe it is not needed with a jeep setup on the trailer but I'm just curious... Also, with the jeep setup, does it still put a fair amount of weight on the drives of the tractor? I'm just a bulk hauler and don't know much about the technicalities of heavy haul so I'm just curious. Btw I just read all 18 pages and was pretty much glued to it. Thanks for the fine reading!

Black what do you think of the rooms?? Oh when you shower use the stand up shower it has great water pressure and really hit water but make sure when the people that cleans it every day to ask for towels and it wouldn't be a bad idea to go down to Walmart to get a pillow but when your driving through the yard make #### sure your doing the speed limit

 

The HILTON isn't bad as i thought seen hella worse lots a little dusty gets cold in the room at night today is day one of orientation.

 

Orientation is super lax well that is if Cheryl is still doing it we spent more time in the bunk than at the white house

An additional axle will only get you another 20K or so of allowable weight, so you might get 60K on the three axle grouping. With a tandem jeep you get 20K for EACH axle (80K for drives and jeep).

What really sucks is when you only need a single axle jeep and all you have is a tandem>Instead of having 50K on 3 axles, you have 50K on 4 or only 25K on your drives.

 

Yea and when you run a four axle truck with a tandem jeep by the time you've got your drives loaded your way over on your jeep.
