Leaving Friday to start orientation on 2/25!

Looks like it will be one week from this Saturday when they would put me on the bus.

About 850 miles from from what I can see.

Just talked to my recruiter today to see what I am suppose to do with the truck and trailer after I'm assigned one.

I needed to know what arrangements I need to make with people to pick me up or what not.

She said they hook me up with a load and I bring it back in this area and drop it.

Then I can drive the whole kit and caboodle home and wait for the call to hit the road.

Had no clue I could drive the rig all the way to my door step. Much easier that way for me.

 

I'll be headed out for the March 18th classes! Just got the call today after I filled out my application yesterday, just hoping all my references check through *fingers crossed* My recruiter was Madison and she was really quick to the point, just gotta wait for the call back one week before shipping off to Atlanta

Yea. When my recruiter called me back she asked why I hadn't disclosed a ticket I got in 2006. She couldn't tell me what it was for and I didn't even remember it.

I called the DMV to find out what it was all about and they said that whatever it was, it had been dismissed.

I called the recruiter back and said what the DMV had said and she had already called the company and said "Don't worry about it".

I said "So does that mean I'm goin' to Hollywood?".

Nope. Salt Lake City. ####.

Bottom line, they can drum up stuff you forgot about. She said if it's more that 5 years old they don't care as long as no felonies, DV's or DUI's.

 

Starting in July would enjoy daily or weekly updates if you can

 

This guy just stole the words from my mouth. I was literally about to post the same thing. It would be a big help if a couple of you could provide us with some daily or weekly updates while you go through orientation and school, and while you are out on the road for a trainer. I'm ready to go but I'd like to read some first-hand experiences to better prepare myself!
